WebThe Colorado Road and Community Safety Act passed by the Colorado legislature in 2013 allows all Coloradans to obtain a non-REAL ID compliant driver license, regardless of The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has announced that, effective May 7, 2025, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will no longer accept drivers licenses that are not compliant with the REAL ID Act (see below) as proof of identification to board commercial aircraft.
